Author has written 13 stories for Final Fantasy IX, Zelda, Harry Potter, Orson Scott Card, Bible, Alice in Wonderland, Final Fantasy VII, and Doctor Who.

Basic Information

Name: Honestly, you can call me whatever you want, within reason. Officially, online I go by either Mario or Syne.

ASL: You don't really need to know any of these, but I'm generous. I'm a teenaged girl from the states.

I spend the majority of my time reading, writing, playing video games, and listening and playing music.

Basic Interests

Books: Robin Hobb, Raymond Feist, Robert Jordan, Garth Nix, Neil Gaiman, Orson Scott Card, Brian and Frank Herbert (I like Brian better. His father was a bit too dry for my tastes.) Jane Lindskold. Terry Brooks. Douglas Adams. To hit on some of the more prominent authors whose novels adorn my bookshelves.

Video Games: Final Fantasy - My favorites include V, VI, VII, IX, and Tactics. Zelda - favorites include OOT, ALTTP, MM, and LA - Can't stand the cell-shading of WW, FS, and MC. Super Mario Bros - Favorites include SMBW, SMB3, 64, and Sunshine. .Hack//. Chrono Trigger. Xenogears. Donkey Kong Country (All three!). Kingdom Hearts. Again, just naming the more prominent ones.

Music: Rock. Most varieties of rock I'm good with, but go into rap and blues and country and you lose my attention. Metal, oldies, current, most rock music is good or decent. Love Pink Floyd. Ween. The Cure. Three Dog Night. The Who. Marilyn Manson. Smile Empty Soul. Mudvayne. the Rasmus. The Beatles. They Might Be Giants. Tons more, but I can't think of any right now.

Writing

General: Some people like writing canon-plotted fics, and some like AUs. Me? I'm right in the middle. I like to see how far the lines of the canon world can be stretched, before it falls apart. So I push. Never to the breaking point though, because while I love reading AUs, there is more dignity in the canon world. I just read between the lines, examining every angle I can of every unusual statement.
It takes a lot of consideration for me to write a story though. Simply because of how I write, some part of me needs to examine everything I can to get the characters right, and the world. So, I study. If it's a book-based plot, I read and re-read, dog-earing pages as need be. In video-games, I play and re-play, and read the script if I can find it (if I can't, I write it out the seond time through). If it's a show, then I'll watch and re-watch the show.
This takes time, so when I have a plot going, updates might occasionally slow down, but I will never abandon a work in progress while people are interested. So, if I'm neglecting to update for a while, just drop me a line, and I'll sit in front of the computer until I've written the next two chapters (which I won't post together- don't want you all getting greedy..)

Categories, Genres, and Ships: I don't know what I'll write in the future, mostly because all plots have abandoned me. My writing is typically a little (or more than a little) angsty, if merely because it's what I notice in the scripts (fluff drives me insane). And Ships? I think it's stupid to devote yourself to one pairing, especially if it's never going to happen in canon. So, I read variety. What I want, when I want. And in my own writing, don't expect me to write a ship, especially as the main focus of the story. I mean, relationships are interesting, but its so much more fun to just pick at their words.

If, by some chance, you need to contact me, PM me, email me, or, if you have no account, just put it in a review. If you send me an email, though, please include "Fanfiction" in the subject line, or else I might accidently assume it's just junk mail. Honestly, I don't know if you will ever care to contact me, but if you do...
