II

Friday night, the night that marks the weekends. The night that gives students relief, because there’s a slight break from school, to do whatever they please. On this Friday night, the Winx club decided to take a Girls-Night-Out, and what did they do on this girl’s night out? Shop of course!

“So, did any of you guys get the potionalogy class today?” Layla asked.

“No, not really, all my Transformation Potions turned out to be a horrible!” Bloom replied.

“Same here, I tried to do it, but, we all know what happened…” Flora added. The potions class had to be ended early because one of the potions turned the Professor into a snail, Bloom and Flora were both convinced it was there’s.

“Hey, don’t worry about that guys, it was funny. You should get extra credit for that!” Musa laughed trying to cheer them up.

“Anyway, enough about some dumb potions, can you believe they’re going to make us take a self defense class, as in what the boys do?” Stella asked. Bloom patted her friend on the back.

“Don’t worry Stella, I’m it won’t be that bad, it might be fun!” Flora said cheerfully.

“Flora, are you kidding me? We’re going to have to do a lot of running, and jumping, a sweating!” Stella answered back, or more like yelled back. The other girls just laughed.

“Come on Stella, why don’t we go get something to eat, and take your mind off it,” Musa sudgested, and Stella nodded, before they all headed to the closet pizza place they could find, but while they were walking, Flora suddenly stopped, and turned around.

“Hey, Flora, is something wrong?” Tecna asked. Flora sighed.

“No, I don’t think so, it’s just, I’m getting this feeling.”

“Feeling about what?” Bloom asked.

“Well, I can’t shake the feeling that we’re being watched,” she said.

“Don’t worry about it Flora, I’m sure it’s nothing,” Stella reassured, “Now, come on guys, let’s go eat!”

While the group happily walked off to the pizza place, Flora still couldn’t shake the feeling someone was watching them, and she could have sworn she heard something, but she tried to tell herself it was nothing. Just her imagination, but it wasn’t her imagination, it was something she could never imagine in her wildest dreams.

A little way’s away, three figures were watching the girls with much interest. There were two men and a woman. One of the men was tall and skinny, with some barely noticeable muscles. He had long blue-black hair, piercing dark blue eyes, and no emotion on his face. The other man had pure black hair, surrounding his head. He was taller than the first, had wide green eyes, and pale skin, and was smiling. The woman was slightly short, her hair was a short and pure blue, and had piercing, narrow amber eyes, and a slight scowl on her face.

“So, Raven, are you sure we’re watching the right people? They all just seem to, girly and childish.” The tall man with black hair said. The other man only grunted.

“There is no need to worry, Kalt. They are the right group, and we are in the right place.” The other man, Raven, said back. The woman just gave a slightly annoyed grunt, and the taller man, Kalt, turned his attention the woman.

“What’s the matter Eureka, don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts about this. It’s understandable if you are, considering-”

“I’m not having second thoughts, dumbass! I’m just, just…I’m not in a good mood right now. Besides, if anybody should be having second thoughts about this, it should be Raven,” The woman yelled back at Kalt.

“Eureka, stop you yelling, or you’ll give us away, and there is no need to doubt what we’re doing, it’s are orders, and Andrew, stop provoking her,” Raven commanded at the two.

“Yes captain,” the two said back. Kalt then looked back at the group of girls.

“So, Captain Raven, which one of these girls is our target?” he asked. Raven pointed to the girl with tan skin, and caramel colored hair.

“So, why don’t we just go kill her now, and get this mission over with, we could do it quick and easy?” Kalt suggested.

“No, we might hurt an innocent in the process. We must wait until the time is right. Besides that, I felt the energy of one of the Cover members,” Eureka turned angrily at her captain.

“You could have told us that earlier!” Eureka yelled at him. Raven kept the same unemotional look on his face, and Kalt smiled.

“Well if that is the case, then this mission just got a whole lot more fun.”

Jeromy was sulking down the streets of Magix. It’s been a long day, if you can call time traveling about 25 years in the past a day. ‘Why am I even here again? Oh, right, she sent me,’ against his will. He was pretty used to that, but it still bugged him to no end.

“Damn her,” he muttered to himself.

“Hey, Jero, I can hear you!” Damn. He forgot there was a ear piece and mic on him, so the others back at Cover base could hear him, and vice versa. He was hoping it wouldn’t work through the time stream, but so much for that.

“Hey, Ray, two things, A. Don’t call me Jero, B. why am I even here again?” he asked.

“Oh, so you’re still dubbing me as Ray, eh, and to answer your first question, no, I will still call you Jero?” Jeromy let out a deep groan. She could be so annoying sometimes.

“Just answer the question.” He heard a sigh on the other end of the line.

“I told you when you were back here, did you forget already?” He groaned. He swore, that woman was nuts. How she became Commander when she worked in Black Rose, he would never know. He didn’t answer back, and just swiftly muted his end of the line. At least now he could think of what to do, and have some quite time to himself.

He always treasured the moments when nothing could bother him. It let him think about stuff, and slightly eased his mind. When your in a unknown territory, it's always good to keep a cool head. Technicality, it wasn't really unknown territory, back in his time field, he knew this place pretty well, but that's 25 year in the future. He actually grew up in Magix, truth be told, but it would be different then the glory it holds now. Looking around now, seeing how happy, and peaceful everything looked here, he saw thing's would be changed for the worse.

The Magix he would grow up in would be a everyday fight for survival, for the common person living there, but even more for him, as nobody was there to take care of him. He guessed he would actually lose that fight, if Ray didn't come around. She found him, and protected him, and she was just as crazy then as she is now. In the years following, he got to know her, and her history. He might be one of the only ones who knows her real name. It may not seem like it, but they were pretty close, even if she had (forced) him to do ridiculous things. Like this for example. This was probably the worse yet.

For one thing, he probably looks like a freak, wearing his Cover uniform, which was a black stealth suit, and a white and read vest, the material for the vest hasn't even been made yet! Another thing, it would be a pain to get people to take him seriously, mainly, because he looks like he’s ten. In reality, he’s fourteen, but that still held the same problem. This was going to be a pain. Sure, he was a genius in battle, and intellect, but he was on a whole new time plane. Who knew what dangers were here, besides the ones he followed, those three Black Rose members.

He could normally take Black Rose on easily, but then he saw him. Captain Raven, one of the strongest Captains in Black Rose, and not one to mess with. In other words, he needed to keep himself hidden, or there would be hell to pay. Why did he always get stuck in these situations?

While he was walking around in his thoughts, he bumped into somebody. Unfortunately, that somebody was a witch.

“Hey, you stupid brat, watch where you’re going!” She yelled at him. He just scowled.

“Maybe you should have gotten out of the way!” He yelled back. One of the nice things about working with “Ray” you learned not to take anything, except from her of course.

“You freaky brat, I could turn you into a pig if I felt like it, which I’m beginning to do!”

“Bite me. I’ll just tell you this once. Don’t mess with me, ugly,” The witch then grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, and held him there, and he could mentally picture the guys back at headquarters, laughing their heads off.

“That’s it kid, I’m gonna stomp you like the bug you are!” The witch yelled out at him. He smirked, he sensed her power level, not even close to his. A knock out spell would be simple enough, and it wouldn’t kill her.

“Oh, master of magic, I sense the darkness living in the shadows of this earth,” he began, confusing the witch highly.

“Kid, what nonsense you speaking?” she asked, but Jeromy just continued.

“The darkness within the light, and the darkness of all beings, now, grace us with the light of darkness, where we will be at peace!” He chanted, and felt the grip on his shirt loosen up. He looked into the witches eyes, and saw she was sleeping with her eyes open. He was able to get out of her grasp, and slip away into the night.

“Hey, nice one there, but, it might be a problem you knock out a Cloud Tower witch,”

“How’d you get past the mute?”

“I had a friend, a while ago, who showed me a thing or two about hacking systems.”

“You don’t let me have any privacy anymore, do you?”

“Nope, nice spell you used back there, aren’t you glad I taught it to you, Jero?”

“I told you not to call me that, damnit!” And with that, Jeromy continued his walk into the night, with the sounds of Ray giving him a hard time, and Louis and Jim, laughing in that background. This mission was going to be a pain.
