A/N: Here ya go, chapter three. First of all let me say thanks to those that have given me reviews. and secondly i know that you've probably noticed by now that their are errors in my work. I don't have a beta and i try hard to correct the things on my own, but sometimes what looks right to me may not look right to others. Anyone know where i could find a beta? let me know. :D ok, anyway, back to the story here...

It was Monday and Kagome was at school. Inuyasha sat perched in the Goshinboku waiting for her to return. He was almost asleep when Ms. Higurashi asked if he would take Kagome her lunch.

Luckily by the time he got to her school it was luch time. He saw her sitting under a tree talking with her friends. He started to go to her when he saw that Hobo guy walking up.

"Hey Kagome. How are you? Would you like to go to the movies with me this weekend?"

Inuyasha thought he was going to fall out of the tree he was hiding in when he heard that! Kagome was about to decline when Yuka jumped in and answered for her.

"She'd love to!" she said grinning cheekily.

"Great! Pick you up at 8 on Saturday." Houjo replied.

Inuyasha really didn't know what to think or who to be angry with. Kagome-no, she was going to decline the offer. Houjo-a little, but mostly no because he was just a twit who didn't know how to take a hint. Now that Yuka girl-just why had she insisted upon Kagome going? He knew something was up, but he just couldn't put his finger on it. The other two girls looked as suprised as Kagome so he knew they couldn't be apart of it, could they?

He decided to worry about it later and walked over to Kagome to deliver her lunch.

"Here, you forgot this." He plopped down next to Kagome and sat watching her friends expression for any signs of plotting.

"Thanks!" Kagome was starving! She practically inhaled the lunch while watching as Inuyasha mingled with her friends. Yuka decided to liven things up now that Inuyasha was here.

"So Kagome, what are you going to wear on your date with Houjo?" she wasn't prepared for what happened next, then again neither was Kagome.

Inuyasha sat their looking every bit calm and serene. He had finally figured out the little plan thanks to Yuka's simple question. He didn't want to give the game away, so he faked serenity.

"He's not upset?!" Yuka and Kagome both thought.

"So she's trying to get us into a fight for Kagome, huh?" Inuyasha thought, growing angrier by the minute. Well if it's a war she wants, she's on!

Saturday came quickly. Kagome groaned at the thought of having to go on another date with Houjo, but Inuyasha insisted she go. The whole thought of her hanyou actually saying she should go on this date gave her the creeps.

Meanwhile, Houjo prepared himself for a very unforgettable evening. He was dressed in is best outfit and had a beautiful bouquet of flowers ready for Kagome. He knew he'd just sweep her off her feet and she'd forget all about that Inuyasha.

He whistled his whole way to the shrine. Yes, tonight would be an unforgettable night. He just knew it.

Just what does Houjo have in store for Kagome? Will Inuyasha wreck the date? hehe.
