Rogue sighed as she pulled out her diary from her desk.

Dear, dear diary

I wanna tell my secrets

Because of what she did, to her, her only true friend was her diary. It was the only thing she trusted.

Cause you're the only one

That I know will keep them

She started to write.

Dear, dear diary

…So this is what I've done

Dear Diary,

Ah can’t believe wha’ Ah did. He told meh that he loved meh! And Ah left him there ta die! Afta’ that night we spent tagetha’, and all we had been through! Ah left him there ta freeze.

I've been a bad, bad girl

For so long

Don't know how to change

What went wrong

Flashback:

“Rogue! I don’t care if you leave me, chere, but you have to understand --”

“You think I can understand you? You think wrong Mistah.”

“Fine, then, I’ve earned your hatred, but at least get me somewhere that’ll give me a chance ta get back home.”

“Home? You ain’t got no home, Sugah, not with me… Not with the X-Men. Fend for yourself. You seem to have done a good job of that in the past.”

“But… I love you.”

“You’re honest with the people you love, Gambit, otherwise… It’s a gamble.”

End Flashback.

Logan is always there ta comfort meh, but Ah know he doesn’t agree wit’ what Ah did, an’ he can’t stand Gambit! Pe’haps one day they will forgive meh. Pe’haps one day Ah will forgive mahself.

She closed her diary as she heard knocking at her door.

“Rogue dinner time!”

“Ok Jean. Ah’ll be down soon.” Rogue sighed and walked out of her room.

Dear Diary,

Lately Ah have been feelin’ very sick. Ah went ta McCoy an’ he did all these tests. Taday Ah will see what’s wrong wit meh. Ah hope its not what Ah think it is.
