Lucida: I don't own Inuyasha so shut it and shove it.

CHAPTER 3

Kagura awoke the next day, looking at her alarm clock. It was about ten in the morning and she had to get to the theatre to help set-up. It had been an interesting day the day before. She smirked a bit, amused at the fact that she and Kagome had gone shopping with the Tsuyoino brothers. Inuyasha was loads of fun to annoy but she wasn't too sure how to get a full expression from the older one though. He seemed so stoic. Kagura rolled out of bed, trying to imagine a smile on his face. Nope. Way too scary. She stretched a bit before heading to the shower to get ready. But something caused her to freeze. She looked in the mirror and swore she saw the one person she didn't want to see. She spun around to see him there.

"It was very naughty of you to run, Kagura," the icy voice said. Kagura tried to run but it felt like her feet were planted to the ground. He came closer and closer. Suddenly, Kagura felt something tear at her skin...A knife...

--

Kagura heard herself scream as she tumbled out of bed. She pushed herself up to find that her scarlet nightgown was sticking to her skin. She looked at the clock. It had a half an hour before it went off. She sat up, trying to calm herself down. Her hair kept sticking to her face so she attempted to do it up. That failed so she managed to make herself rise and head to the bathroom. Her heart was beating rapidly and her blood was pulsing. She managed to get into the shower and turned all the cold water on. It felt shocking at first but then it was soothing and a great relief. He had found her. He was insane and obsessive. She had no idea why he was so intent on taking her back to his theatre. She just...She put her hand to the wall as a memory came back.

Kanna had been an older actress than she was. She was petite and quite fair. She and Kagura were exact opposites but they always seemed to stick up for the other in their own way. Then, Kagura overheard Naraku talking to some man about "Buying." At first, she hadn't a clue what he meant. The next day though, Kanna hadn't shown up. She never came back. Kagura noticed that happened to a lot of actors and actresses there. She slammed her fist against the wall.

"Damn him!" She yelled. She slammed her fist against the wall again. He sold them like slaves! Had he managed to find her a "buyer?!" "I won't be taken, dammit," she hissed under the sound of the shower. She reached down and turned the shower off and stepped out of the tub. She blinked, surprised. Her eyesight...

Maybe your eyesight is good, you just don't want it to be she remembered someone telling her once. Normally, everything was slightly blurry but now, she could see fine. And sharp too. She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself then another to dry her hair with. Odd.

--

Naraku rested his face on his hand as he tapped his fingers on the desk.

"You're up to something," Byakuya noted.

"Go fetch Goshinki," Naraku ordered him. Byakuya shrugged and obeyed, leaving the room.

So, Kagura, you plan to hide behind the Tsuyoino brothers, Naraku thought as he waited. He let out a small chuckle. We will see how well that will work... The door creaked open to reveal Byakuya and a fair skinned man. His hair was a deep purple with some white whisps and his eyes were a blood red. His features were sharp and there were some scars on his face. He smirked darkly.

"What is it you wish for me to do?" He asked in a deep voice.

"Find Kagura and kill the Tsuyoino brothers," Naraku informed him. "But you knew that already..."

"That's right," Goshinki replied, flashing fang-like teeth.

--

"Another excellent performances, my friends!" Miroku said happily. He went to hug Kagura only to get hit on the head with a fan she happened to be holding.

"No hugging," she said. "The last time you hugged me, you groped me."

"But that was a long time ago!" Miroku whined.

"Go find some other girl to harrass," Kagura replied. "You'll probably find one at the club." Just then, Kagome walked over. Miroku threw himself at her, hugging her.

"Oh, Kag! Kagu's being mean to me!" He whined.

"Um, there, there, Miroku," Kagome said, giving Kagura a look that said "Help me." Just then, Kagome "Eeped" and slapped Miroku. "Pervert!" Miroku rubbed his face, laughing a bit. This caused Kagome and Kagura to laugh as well. Just then, Hiten came over and put an arm around Kagura's shoulders.

"Heh, got what he deserved," Hiten chuckled.

"I thought I told you, off the stage, stay six feet away from me," Kagura stated. Hiten smirked a bit, amused.

"Oh yeah! Kagura! They're in the audience again!" Kagome informed the other girl, completely ignoring Hiten.

"Really?" Kagura said, getting out of the tan man's grasp. "I wonder why. He probably came to be annoying with his stoic nature."

"Maybe he just wanted to be supportive, like his brother!" Kagome defended. Kagura chuckled, shaking her head.

"Poor, naive, Kagome," she said, patting the girl on the head. Miroku and Hiten looked at each other.

"Any idea who they're talking about?" Hiten asked Miroku.

"You're Kagura's stalker," Miroku replied, walking off.

"I don't stalk," Hiten said after him. He then turned to the two girls only to find them gone. Damn!

--

"Okay, what're you doing here, Sesshomaru?" Kagura inquired as she met the man in the audience. Sesshomaru had a slight expression of amusement on his face but that quickly vanished as a woman with dark brown hair walked up. Her eyes were a deep choclate and she seemed to enjoy wear black and pink.

"Wonderful performance!" The woman said, shaking Kagura's hand. "You and Kagome are perfect!"

"Erm, thanks, who are you?" Kagura asked, surprised by the woman.

"Ah, I'm Sango Taijiya, Mr. Tsuyoino and Inuyasha's agent," the woman replied. Kagura looked at her in shock then looked at Sesshomaru. He was clearly amused and couldn't seem to hide it completely now. Kagura sent him a glare but then turned back to Sango. "I'm interested in seeing if you and Kagome could possibly be in the movie with Inuyasha and Mr. Tsuyoino. I'm so sure you'll get the parts!"

"I think we'll need longer to talk about this," Kagura said, a bit unsure.

"Keh, don't worry, Sango's trust worthy," Inuyasha said, coming over. "Kagome already said yes. They're gonna take care of the papers tomorrow. I'm sure Sango would be fine with doing it at the same time." Kagura contemplated for a minute or so.

"We'll see about it tomorrow," she said. "Right now, I have to get ready for the cast party."

"Mind if we tag along?" Sango asked, not even bothering to ask the brothers. Although, Kagura thought that it was probably a given that Inuyasha would go. Kagura shrugged.

"Whatever suits you," she said, walking off.

"Is she always like this?" Sango asked.

"Hey, I've only known her for about a day and a half," Inuyasha replied. "But yeah. For that time."

--

Goshinki stood a little bit away from the group. He smirked, highly amused with how things were going. He was pleased that he would get to shed some blood. Naraku hadn't said he couldn't kill a few bystanders here and there. He already knew where they were going. All he was doing was keeping an eye on the targets. Just then, he noticed the older Tsuyoino send him a cold glare. Goshinki smirked, amused by the fact that the man had noticed him. He had been worried this would be dull. He tried to see what the guy was thinking but he seemed to understand what he was doing and put up some kind of block. Oh, this guy was good. This was definately going to be fun.

--

Kagura sat in the club, wearing her tight, form-fitting red dress. It was short and showed of her legs rather well. She wore fishnet hose and her hair was let down. She sighed as she watched the group dancing. She was amazed at how they could be so carefree. She let her leg sway as she thought. That movie deal wouldn't be so bad but it would give herself away even more. Should she just pick up and run as usual? Naraku had a way of entangling people and Kagura didn't want her friends caught in this mess. She sighed, deciding running would probably be best, even though she was giving up a great opportunity.

Just then, Kagome crashed into the chair beside her. The girl had gotten a green dress with a covered neck. It was sparkly but not too much that it was over whelming. Kagura thought the outfit was missing white gogo boots.

"C'mon, Kagura!" She said, giggling a bit. "Let's dance!"

"Sorry, I don't swing that way," Kagura said with a small smirk.

"That's not what I meant!" Kagome laughed. She grabbed her friend's wrist as she dragged her onto the dance floor as Paralyzer by Finger Eleven came on.

--

Sesshomaru watched as Kagome dragged Kagura onto the dance floor as a catchy tune came on. He took a drink of his martini, eyes still watching the woman. She seemed not to wish to dance but he saw something in her eyes. He smirked, mildly amused. So, she didn't want to dance? Even though she was in the middle of the dance floor, she still refused to dance. He set his empty glass down and rose, making his way through the crowd. He moved so he was behind Kagura and whispered "So, you dance on stage but refuse to dance in a crowd. Ironic..."

A slight gasp came from the woman's throat as she turned to see who was behind her. She glared at him.

"Hey, you ass! What do you think you're doing?!" She exclaimed.

"Dancing," he merely replied, putting his hands on her hips and starting to grind. Kagura felt her face burn up. She pulled out of his grasp and turned to look at him, a smirk on her face.

"If you wanna dance with me, you gotta dance my way, perv," she stated. Sesshomaru raised an inquiring eyebrow. The music changed to a more Latino style. "The reason I dance on stage but not in real life is because the style of dancing now is dishonorable..." Kagura said. Sesshomaru smirked a bit.

"Interesting," he said. "Salsa?"

"Took loads of ballroom dancing and stuff like that when I was younger," Kagura replied.

"Good, I prefer it," Sesshomaru said, taking hold of her hand. The two moved in perfect sync with the music, doing dizzying turns and spins. Kagura swayed to the music well, nearly entrancing the silver haired man.

--

Kagome snatched Inuyasha's sleeve, looking shocked but pleased. Inuyasha looked at her and followed her eye line.

"What?!" He said in shock. "Wow, he actually found someone who likes his kind of dancing..." The two were watching Sesshomaru and Kagura moving right in beat with each other and Hips Don't Lie.

"They're amazing," Kagome said. Sango came over to the two, having slapped a perverted director. She watched the two and smirked.

"Yes! Their dynamic is perfect!" She said. "Oh, yes! She's meant for this role!"

"Jeez, Sango, don't you think of anything but your job?" Inuyasha asked, exasperated. Inuyasha held his hand out to Kagome. "C'mon, let's go join them." Kagome nodded and took his hand. He led her out to the dance floor and the two started to dance as well. Sango held back a sigh. Think about anything but her job?

"Something on your mind?" Miroku said, appearing beside her.

"You don't give up, do you?" Sango asked, glaring at him. Miroku put his hands up in a nervous defense.

"My apologies, it slipped," he said.

"How could you slip when you groped me?!" Sango exclaimed. Miroku rubbed the back of his head, laughing.

"Is it my fault that your beauty is so hypnotizing?" He asked. Sango felt herself blush but she continued to glare at the man. He cocked a half smirk then looked at the four on the dance floor, face serious.

"Kagura came here two years ago," he stated. "She was a mess. Didn't have any money, any family, nothing. All she could do was act. She seemed like she was on the run from something." Sango listened quietly. "These murders recently...I wonder if they're somehow related to her," Miroku observed. "This is just a wild speculation, of course. But she seems a little more on guard lately..."

"You're worried about her, huh?" Sango stated. Miroku nodded.

"In theatre guilds like ours, we're like family," he told her. "It's only natural for me to worry for her and anyone else in our theatre who is going through tough times..."

--

Hiten knew better than to get in between Kagura and this guy. It wasn't because he was Sesshomaru Tsuyoino. Oh no. It's because Hiten knew not to get into a fight with this guy. But he still glowered and watched the salsa dancing. He scoffed, arms crossed. Kagura had been the first full female demon not related to him he had met in a while. But she was ignorant of it. He had been too for a while until he noticed some things about her.

Damn, I thought I'd get a mate out of this, he thought. He looked back at the couple. He was cocky, but he knew he would be nothing compared to that demon. He smirked, shrugging. Oh well, he thought, there's more fish in the sea and I've got time.

--

The song ended and Kagura and Sesshomaru watched each other for a moment.

"Drink?" Kagura finally asked. Sesshomaru nodded and the two made their way out of the crowd. They walked to the bar calmly. "Water," Kagura said before the bartender could ask. Sesshomaru nodded in agreement. Drinking alcohol after dancing was not for the body. The bartender got out two water bottles and before Kagura could even move, Sesshomaru had placed money on the counter for the beverages. Kagura was about to say something in protest but Sesshomaru had handed her her bottle and was walking away.

"That ass," she muttered, taking the cap off and taking a drink.

--

Sesshomaru took a small drink and looked at the man with purple hair. He was a distance off and was covered in the stench of Naraku. This guy gave Sesshomaru a bad vibe. He obviously was up to no good. The two made eye contact for a second and Sesshomaru knew who he was and why he was there in an instant. Goshinki, the Mind-reading Orge. Sesshomaru's eyes narrowed a bit. He would have to take care of this one quickly and quietly after getting information on Naraku's whereabouts.
