Chapter 3

I am so sorry for abandoning this fic for so long! But I’m back! This is the next chapter and I thank everyone who still reviews this story up to this day. This one’s pretty short. But I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 3

Alexis went to her first class for the day. It was a small lesson with Dr. Crowler and the bullying had gotten worse. Every time Crowler had his back to write something on the board, the whole class would gang up and threw something at Alexis. The plan was to make her yell and give her a detention, but Alexis remained calm and resisted the pressure to vent in front of them all. Besides, she had her mind drifted to someone else. Ever since that time she encountered Zane, he was stuck on her mind.

Two of Chazz’s sidekicks reported what they did to Chazz during the first lunch break.

“So, have she cracked yet?” asked Chazz

“Um… No. It seems like she’s taking it better than we thought.” reported the two sidekicks.

“What?!” questioned Chazz not impressed at all. “Perhaps you idiots weren’t just trying hard enough! She’s weak! I mean come on, she’s just a new girl here and already you failed to just scare her?” he said in disgust.

“She’s pretty tough, and yesterday she ran and hid somewhere where we couldn’t even find her.” Explained one of the sidekicks.

“Well take that as a lesson then! Don’t give her a chance to run! And make her suffer! I want her to understand the consequences to messing with the Chazz!”

With those orders, the two sidekicks left. Chazz was by himself in his private room. He wanted teach Alexis something she will never forget.

That afternoon, Alexis was keeping constant watch of the people around her. It was raining heavily and so there won’t be much secluded place available for her to run to. Still she wondered in her mind. ‘Would Zane be there near the lighthouse? But it was raining heavily so he couldn’t possibly be there.’ She thought.

She stared at the direction of the Lighthouse from a far distance. No tall figure in sight. No one was there.

“I wonder where he’d be?” she whispered to herself. She let her guard down for a brief second and it was enough. The two of Chazz’s sidekicks grabbed her from behind and palmed their hands in her mouth. They kidnapped her and took her to an empty classroom. They pinned her down under a stool. She tried to scream but tape was covering her mouth causing her scream to be on mute. She struggled as the two boys glared down at her.

“Sorry Alexis, but you did disobey the Chazz and so it’s our job to make you suffer.” Said One of them, they tried to unbutton her blouse. She struggled and hit the stool causing another huge bang in the empty classroom.

Little did they know that a certain someone was enjoying his peace in the classroom. A tall figure laid still on a row of chairs with his face buried under a book. He heard the noise that broke his peace and rose to his feet.

He walked over to the two boys who has Alexis pinned down.

“Let her go.” He said in a calm manner.

“No, we can’t. Chazz has told us to teach her a lesson!” they defended.

“Yeah, but right now I’m telling you now to let her go.” He repeated.

Immediately the two boys speed out of the classroom. Leaving Alexis there still on the ground. She got up slowly, still shaken by fear.

Zane got the stool and positioned it next to her and sat on it. He peeled the tape off her mouth and stared sympathetically at Alexis.

Alexis was still in fear. She placed her hands in her chest as tears flowed out of her eyes. She had never been so frightened. If it weren’t for Zane, she couldn’t even begin to imagine the horror.

“It was raining today. So I had to find another quiet place. I never thought some students would want go back to a classroom when it’s recess. But I was wrong and again my peace was disrupted.” He said.

“Why did you help me?” she asked in confusion. “I thought you were Chazz’s friend.

“I never said I wasn’t.” he answered. “I just hate it when my peace is disrupted. Don’t take my assistance too personally.” He finished. He walked out of the classroom leaving her alone.

“But still… you did help me…” she said to herself

Meanwhile, the two boys who failed to teach Alexis a lesson went to Chazz and explained what happened. Chazz was not exactly thrilled

“What? You failed to even do that to her when there’s two of you and only one of her?!” he asked as he beat them up to satisfy himself.

“No, Chazz… there was another person there…” one of them explained with a bruised face.

“Who? Her slacker friends? You can’t beat them either?” he questioned

“It was Zane! He defended her and stopped us!” the other boy yelled

Chazz was shocked.

“As it turns out, when we couldn’t find her that evening, she was with him too.” The other boy finished.

Chazz squeezed his fist, he was so angry. To think that his friend Zane would do such a thing to ruin his fun, but for him to even stand up and defended her, Alexis Rhodes, the only person who is daring enough to punch him! It’s no wonder why she wasn’t bothered at all by his awful treatment. Chazz was pissed.

He banged his fist in the table in anger. The two boys exit hurriedly not wanting to experience Chazz’s bad side.

“Useless morons!” he yelled in frustration. Suddenly through all that frustration a smirk began to form across his face. “I guess if I want something done, I have to do it myself.” He laughed evilly to himself.

That evening Alexis was heading back to the Girl’s dorm. She had Zane in her mind so she wasn’t really bothered with the previous incident. Suddenly, two men in black suits grabbed her from behind. They held her whilst covering her mouth with a handkerchief. She struggled to get free and to let out a yell but it was no use. Suddenly her vision began to blur as she saw a tall figure from afar. She blinked a couple of times to see it was Chazz Princeton smirking. Her vision blurred again and then it was dark.

Another Cliffy! I hope that wasn’t too bad… I’m currently really busy at the moment so don’t expect an update for while. Please review and tell me your favourite and least favourite parts. I need to improve as much as I can!
