Me: Another fic!!!!

Vergil: Hell no!

Me: Just ignore him! I’m writing yet another hyper Yu-Gi-Oh! GX fic! But this time starring Blair Flannigan!

Vergil: I thought you hate her!

Me: That’s ages ago! Get with the times man! Besides, this fic is all about a girl doing a man’s job! Based on the first and second season, so the stories are mixed up, I’m sorry but bare with me. I wrote this cause many people dislike her and personally I’m not that much of a fan either and in the first season, her coming there undercover seems like stalking so I wrote it to have a more serious plot. Basically Zane just turned back from being Hell Kaiser (sort of) and is all moody and decides to put dueling off for a while. So Blair disguises herself as a boy to help him duel like a normal person again. But Chazz is getting fonder of her and begins to question his sexual preferences. It’s based on Hana-Kimi so enjoy! Oh, and don’t worry if you’re not a fan of Blair. This is a fic with side stories that involves all the crazy stuff happening on campus caused mainly by Jaden XP

First day

Duel Academy. Simply the hardest school to get into in all of Japan. They accept students who show a promising skill in dueling. So you can’t bribe your way in. It is also thought to be the school filled with the most gorgeous guys and girls around.

Among the people on the waiting list is Blair Flannigan. She had travel from Hokkaido to get to Duel academy and was the only accepted applicant amongst the 300 other people on the waiting list to enter Duel Academy. She got 99.9 in her entrance exam, a score that was the highest in the history of the school. The previous record was held by Zane Truesdale who achieved 99.8. Which is also a reason why the school sent a private helicopter to escort her here.

However, she is disguising herself as a boy to make her duty easier, because she isn’t just going to Duel Academy because of the school, she’s going to Duel Academy to help a certain guy named Zane Truesdale.

And on her first day, she was already late.

“I can’t believe a helicopter ride would be so slow! Oh well, it was pretty cool.” She said to herself. Blair wore the usual Boy’s Slifer uniform. Her long hair tied in a bun and tucked under her hat. She found a long corridor lined with lockers, she couldn’t find her’s and being in such a rush she luckily found an opened one, so she placed her bag in there and took out some books. She ran through the hallway trying to find the classroom.

Meanwhile in the classroom.

“Children, as you all may heard, we are expecting a new student here from Hokkaido. So I want you to please give him the warmest welcome” said Professor Banner their teacher.

“Wow! A new student! Maybe, he has cards available in Hokkaido and not here!” said Jaden happily

“I doubt he’d have any rare cards though.” Said Chazz.

“Maybe he’d like science too!” said Bastion. The whole class was getting excited over the idea.

“Let’s give him a warm welcome!” suggested Jaden. They all stood up and clapped hyperly.

Meanwhile Blair was outside getting ready to enter the classroom. She was pumped! She opened the door quickly and enters. The whole class went silent as they stared at her. She was tiny compared to them.

“She’s petit.” Said Bastion

“Makes Syrus looks like a giant too.” Said Chumley

“Class, please welcome Blair Flannigan. She’s a new student here.” Said Professor Banner. “Would you like to introduce yourself Blair?”

“Hi, I’m Blair. It’s nice to meet you all.” She said shyly.

“The new kid’s boring!” said Chazz. The class began talking amongst themselves again.

Blair took her seat behind Bastion quietly, she placed some of her books on the desk. Jaden was reading a magazine of the famous dueling students across Japan.

“Whoa Blair! I read here that you held a record for dueling in Hokkaido for the fastest win!” said Jaden “even beating Chazz’s record!”

“What?! How does a puny guy like him beat the Chazz?!” said Chazz arrogantly.

“Well lets find out!” said Jaden. He pulled Blair’s arms from behind and pinned her to the wall. Two other boys began feeling her legs and such for muscles or anything to indicate her superiority in dueling (it never occurred to them that even the King of Games don’t have muscles).

“Whoa no muscles!” said one of them.

Chazz simply couldn’t believe it. “Let me confirm that!” he yelled as he made his way towards her. He placed his hands on her chest (her boobs). Blair was horrified. ‘Do they do this to all the new student’s here?!’ But she was more frightened that they may find out she’s a girl.

Chazz’s face went blank as he stared up at her. He drew his hands away and walked away. “This guy’s a joke!”

Blair breathed in relief. But then an arm sticks out of the classroom’s doorway holding her book bag! “Who’s bag is this?” said the voice in a rude manner.

The class laughs at her again. “You just started here and already you’re getting into someone’s bad side!” laughed one of the previous boys.

Blair was annoyed “Hold on! It was only a mistake!” she stomped her way to the doorway to see who the rude person with her book bag is. She froze at the sight of the person. “Zane Truesdale…” she said quietly in a daze.

“That’s what it says on my locker.” He replied coldly. He was still holding out her book bag waiting for her to take it but Blair was in a daze.

Zane was the reason why she had traveled all this way. She remembers her short encounter with him at Nationals and was amazed at how amazingly he duels. But lately she heard he stopped dueling. She made it her mission to then help him find back his dueling spirit.

Zane realizes that she isn’t going to take the book bag so he placed it on her head and walked off humiliating her a bit by making the class laugh at her again. She quickly snapped back into normal and followed him. But before she could say anything, Zane went to the seat behind bastion where Blair’s books was and picked them up and threw them across to the back of the room. “This is my seat.” He said coldly.

Blair was annoyed but said nothing as the class continues to laugh at her. She picked up her books and sat at the empty desk behind Zane. She couldn’t take her eyes off him. “I can’t believe he’s so rude… she thought to herself quietly. “But then again he had just gone through a rough phase in his life so he should be cut some slack.” She thought.

Jaden stood up. “Hey the school’s marathon Duel is coming soon!” said Jaden.

“What’s a marathon duel?” asked Blair clueless.

Bastion explained. “It’s like a marathon, you run a certain long distance but on your way, you must duel opponents set up in bushes and other obstacles. They will appear out of nowhere, challenge you and you must accept. The key is to duel fast in order to keep running to the finish line.”

“Yeah and last year’s champion was me! The Chazz! And I will win it again!” he said arrogantly.

“Stop screaming.” Said Zane bitterly “If you must behave like a monkey, go to the zoo.”

“Oh yeah?! At least I wasn’t the one who can’t accept myself and ended up quitting my dream! Real Mature decision Zane!” said Chazz loudly.

Blair just glared at Chazz, ‘that was so rude!’ she thought to herself.

“Well that’s because you’re too immature to figure it out.” He said angrily as he walked out of the room. The thing is, after that. No one even defended Zane, it’s like they lose their respect for him. But Blair got up and tried to talk to him.

“Zane wait up!” she called out.

He stopped and turned around.

“Um… don’t listen to him. You don’t have to listen to people like that. Those aren’t friends Zane.” Said Blair.

“Yeah like you know about that.” He said sarcastically before storming off.

“Why is he so hard to talk to?!” said Blair rubbing her head.

Me: A crappy first chapter but please forgive me. I’ll try to make it better later.
