Disclaimer: Fan fiction. Faaannn. I really don’t see a need for disclaimers, but what the heck. Final Fantasy VII and its characters belong to Squaresoft and Square Enix. The storyline is mine.
Notes: Hehehe, I thought up of this one, one day. Yuffie is my second favorite character, and Red XIII is my favorite. If you have played the game, then you will know what is going on. It follows the basic-ness at the beginning, and has a lil more adventures. Please enjoy. Rated for some mild language. And I know that its spelled ‘damn’ I’m just spelling it ‘damm’ because I can. Spoilers!
“Who’s there?” A voice called out, and Yuffie bumped into a yellow haired mercenary with a large sword. “Go away!” She yelled, but she found herself in a battle with the mercenary, a young girl who held a staff, and a canine beast. “I’m going to take your materia! You better beware!” She yelled out, and threw several ninja stars at the mercenary. He was injured, but after a while, Yuffie lost.
“Ugh…” Yuffie woke up. ‘Damm! I lost!’ She thought, and sat up groggily. “Hey! Want a free potion?” She called out to the party, who were leaving. She threw one out to the mercenary, and he bent down to pick it up.
‘Its all a trap. Pick it up, and you’ll be binded! And I can take all your materia with ease!’ Yuffie thought as she anxiously waited for him to pick the potion up.
“Wait a minute…” The mercenary said, not picking up the potion. “Would you like to join our party?”
“Hmm...why? Am I that powerful?” Yuffie replied.
“Yes. You scare us all to death.” The mercenary said in sarcasm, crossing his arms.
“O…k…” Yuffie replied. ‘If I join their party, then I can take all the materia, and get away!’ She thought, and she followed the party.
The yellow haired mercenary was Cloud. He was the leader of a party called Avalanche, and they were after the Shinra company and some one named Sephiroth. ‘Whatever…’ Yuffie thought as they explained it to her.
They were all standing in the mansion in Nebleheim, and Cloud had learned the whereabouts of Sephiroth, at least the current whereabouts. The black caped covered followers just wandered through the whole town, and Cloud had taken the chance and listened to what they had said, no matter how mental or schizophrenic the ideas seemed.
Yuffie eyed the materia bag with joy. ‘Soon…so soon, I can take that bag and run off with all the materia ever!’ She thought.
“Yuffie…” Red XIII said, disrupting Cloud’s plan. “Get away from that.” He said, and the party all turned around and eyed her. Cloud looked at the materia bag and walked over to it, picking it up and stuffing it in a pocket.
‘Dammit!’ She thought, glaring at Red XIII.
Yuffie stood outside and watched the caught chocobo run and graze in a fenced area. ‘Hey, that chocobo is holding a red materia…’ She thought, and she watched it, following it. If it went to the right side of the area, she followed. If it went to the left, she followed.
“Gimme!” She called out, and reached out for the chocobo’s leg, to grab the red materia. The chocobo, able to see what she was doing, jumped over the fence in anger. “Squawk!” It shouted, and kicked Yuffie, causing her to soar and land a few feet away.
“Ugh…” She groaned miserably.
“Hey…look, a materia! It's a summon too!” She heard Cloud shout out, and she sat up and watched as the chocobo handed Cloud the red materia and rushed off.
“Dammit! Dammit! Dammit! Evil chocobo!” She said, and stood up, stomping her feet on the ground.
“I’ll take Yuffie, Red XIII, and Vincent.” Cloud said. “You’ll take the others.” So the four took the left side led by Cloud, as the others took the right side led by Barret.
‘Perhaps this is the final chance to steal materia!’ Yuffie thought, following closely behind Cloud. ‘After this whole Sephiroth and saving the planet thing, I will take them! Mwahahaha!’ She thought.
After a long hike, they finally were at the center pit, the middle of the planet. Beautiful green mako energy flowed in a pond-ish area, and the two parties finally met up with one another.
“Whew…that was tiring…” Yuffie said, and she bent down, resting on her knees.
“That’s not the worse part.” Cloud replied seriously. “Move out!” And the merged party hopped down the rocks to the center, where they met Jenova and Sephiroth. After the battle, they had finally won. They had finally saved the planet.
“Wow… We did it… We saved the planet.” Yuffie said in awe.
“Not quite. The meteor… We must rely on Aerith’s prayers to stop that…” Red XIII said.
“Hey, what’s that?” Yuffie pointed out, there was a small shiny blue materia on the other ledge, and she wanted it. “I’ll get it…” She said pretending to be frustrated, and she reached out to the ledge, and got it. ‘Yes! My first stolen materia form this party!’ She thought. Red XIII shook his head.
“Hey…that looks like Aerith’s materia, Holy…” Cloud muttered.
“Huh…?” Suddenly, the ground started to shake. The crater was crumbling.
“Shit!” Barret cried out, and the party rushed up the rocks to get out of the crater. But it was crumbling really badly, and there was no chance that they would get out. No chance.
“Look!” Tifa cried out, pointing to the sky. It was the airship, and it picked them up.
‘Saved!’ Yuffie thought as she scrambled up the rope ladder to the airship. “No!” She shouted as the blue materia from her hand dropped down the crater. “My materia!” She cried out as she watched it fall down…down…down…
The airship flew out of the crater and the party watched as the meteor falls into Midgar, destroying it. Suddenly, beautiful mako energy flowed under the meteor, destroying it little by little before hitting Midgar. The planet was saved.
As for Yuffie…? “I give up.” She told herself.
