Wow. Simply amazing!

I can't wait to read the other two that you have in mind, when you get to them. I look forward to it. :)

Interesting. I do so enjoy stories where people think Edmund is evil but he is secretly betraying the witch.
Poor Peter, Ed is going to give him gray hair at such a young age... -_-'

hey I know u wrote this story some time ago but I just had to tell you how much I enjoyed reading it. A story with peter/edmund brother stuff and the instresting concept of edmund being more experienced in leading a people than peter was.

Really liked it The other stories you talked about are they related to this one or entirely different??

You have no idea how much discovering this story made my week.

Especially when I clicked on your profie; only to discover that you wrote one of the Digimon fics that really got me into writing fanfiction in the first place! -bounces-

This is a LOVELY piece, your characterization is spot-on and you've improved a whole heck of a lot since your Digimon fic. -giggles-. Either way, I'm really looking forward to more fics from you! Especially in the Narnia-verse!

"it was Edmund who took the first step"
--Love that ending, a metaphor for the first step he took in everything really. And by taking the first step he acted as a catalyst to unravel the chain of events ^^
Anyway, I really enjoyed this story so I'll take the opportunity to say thank you for writing it, I suppose. The writing was strong all the way through and really trapped me in a net of intrigue so that I just had to reach the end.
All in all -- awesome, well done :)

Oh, how I adore a stubborn, affectionate Peter! That's the High King I know and love. 'His precious little brother' is a perfect description for the bond between them. I'm sorry to see this end, but it ended so beautifully!

Now stop reading this and go write some more. I want to know what happens next.
elecktrum 2008-09-20 . chapter 8
Ah, glorious chapter! I think the best part was Edmund's brief exchange with the White Witch - brilliant, biting, and telling in ways that Jadis could never begin to comprehend.

I love that Beaver alone heard Edmund's whispered call to battle. That little 'For Peter' summed up Edmund's whole purpose nicely and drove home his loyalty. Of course I also would have liked to see him drop-kick Beaver off the cliff, but I think having to help crown Edmund as King of Narnia is suitable punishment.

The ending with Edmund snatched from the brink of death was so emotionally charged that I was nervous they might not have made it in time. Their reactions to being reunited were beautiful. You could have gone on for three more pages as far as I'm concerned (does it show I don't want this to end?)

I LOVE IT!

All hail the fluff!

This was an emotionally charged chapter. Edmund rallying the army was thrilling and the last three lines were shocking. Well done!
MyBlueOblivion 2008-09-17 . chapter 4
There's a wonderful mixture of emotions running through this chapter, that makes for a truly wonderful read. The opening scene, in Aslan's camp, the conflict between Beaver's staunch support of the tale of the Winter Prince is weighed expertly against Lucy's faith in her brother, once more leaving the reader wondering as to the boy's true alleigance. Once Deolith's story is told, though, the mood changes to one of pensive hope... he isn't what he appears, but if Jadis has her way he won't live to make a full account.
The sheer amount of love shown between Edmund and his forces is purely heart-rending in its intensity. It's obvious in every word and action that each of them is willing to die fortheir little king, and he for them. The underlying sadness at the apparent eventuality of that fact, later countered by the small hope offered by Father Christmas, pulled all the right heart strings.
Finally, the altered scene between Maugrim and Peter was fratut with every emotion imaginable, from pride, to anger, to joy, to fear as Philip delivers his news of Edmund being so close, but in danger of coming no further. In all, the combination of this, the very well written action scenes interlaced with the quiter, deeper moments, led to a truly wonderful chapter. The reader can't help but be launched into the next chapter, eager to find out what happens next. Well done.
