shelby.fay 2008-12-01 . chapter 9Haha! This is a really good story - and I love how you incorporated The Phantom of the Opera in this chapter! I love that movie!! Great story! |
Mrs. Rilla Ford 2008-12-01 . chapter 14Please hurry up with the next chapter!! Your fans (including myself) are waiting anxiously, impatiently, and with baited breath! (Unless you don't like fishy breath, in which case, do you have a breath mint?) |
hondagirl(not signed in) 2008-11-30 . chapter 14 Poor Gil. This scene just broke my heart. Along with the gazebo scene later in the movie. :)

mk985 2008-11-30 . chapter 14 Gil seems to just constantly put himself in these situations where he ends up getting hurt doesn't he? Although it was good that he saw that Anne was hurting too (albeit in a different manner than him).
[“Oh, you’ll marry all right,” spat Gilbert, turning to face her indignantly. “Some fool like Gardner, no doubt, who’ll sit and read Tennyson by firelight, no doubt.”]
Just one note - the repetition of no doubt in this sentence didn't flow quite right when I read it. I think it might read better if you deleted the first one. |
 chocoluvr 2008-11-30 . chapter 13Good chapter. |
Memories Lost 2008-11-30 . chapter 14Aw Oh man. Such a good chapter, so speak so succinctly yet poetically. I always love reading your new chapters, every Sunday! |
rin awayuki 2008-11-29 . chapter 14I'm beginning to resent Anne for being so stubborn.. and I'm quite happy with this Christine-free chapter..XD |
crystaltokyo9849 2008-11-29 . chapter 14Nice Chapter; this happens in the movie though, doesn't it? A few grammar and spelling mistakes here and there, but an overall enjoyable chapter. Update soon please! |
 serenity12345 2008-11-29 . chapter 14Go Gilbert! |
Legallyblonde79 2008-11-25 . chapter 13Yay for Emma references! Another well written chapter. I never cared for Christine in the books and I don't much care for her here either, so well done! ;) |
mk985 2008-11-24 . chapter 13 So the awkwardness begins! That ball scene was just uncomfortable - not the writing but the atmosphere you portrayed, pretending everything is OK when in fact it is not, and only the acutely aware people picking up on the tension.
{“And is he a man of information?” he asked wearily, wondering if he should just hold up two cards, bearing the words “yes” and “no”, and ask Christine to point to the one which best answered the question “Is the man a dandified bore?”} - LMAO! Especially at how Gilbert was putting down Royal in his mind! Though I think that while Gil may disprove of Anne's choice and believe they are ill-matched, I don't think that Roy should necessarily be perceived entirely as a dandy. After all, there must be a reason why Anne and many others like him. |
WantMore 2008-11-24 . chapter 13 I am really enjoying this series, please load chapters faster! I would also like to see something interesting happen between Gilbert and Anne (although I'm not sure exactly what, I'd like it to be a step towards romance or something). Keep up the great work! Oh, and Blythe Spirit was AMAZING. So now you get a little poem blessing.
May you, the author,
Ne'er recieve,
The biting gift,
Of unhappy reprieve,
Which steals the words,
From sparkling mind,
And leaves one empty,
Story undefined.
In short, may you never get writer's block. And also, may your fingers never cramp up from typing. ^-^ |
hondagirl 2008-11-23 . chapter 13So Gilbert got a "Mr. Blythe" huh? Sometime it seems as if our dear friends have never left their childish ways. LOL. And what a great way to introduce Christine. And so the green eyes appear...

 darthluna01 2008-11-23 . chapter 13Finally! Now, the games begin...
I am apt to wonder exactly what the whole connection to mothers and Royal Gardner was. Does it have any significance later on? |
 serenity12345 2008-11-23 . chapter 13Ah! that's horrible! poor Gil! |
