You've a real skill at turning phrases, and you really conveyed Kagome's conflicted feelings and the way she is trapped by them, even knowing that this cannot end well. I get the feeling that her liasons with InuYasha are rather dreamlike to her -- things that occur only at night, that don't seem to relate to the waking world, full of emotional intensity... and as in dreams, she seems immobile, unable to act...
