wow it has been a while since i have reviewed your excellent story. i must say, the begining of this chapter was certainly interesting though i am really looking forward to the action sure to come in the next chapter.

Romance sceans do deepen the plot as long as they aren't all about the sex and you obviously manage to keep that from happening. This is a nice characterization chapter. I am glad to get to know how Rachel feels about her father though it was a little selfish of her to force her feelings upon Jin. At least he seemed willing to listen.

Rachel has got to be one of the most interfearing people ever born. I understand that she worries about Jin, but there is a major war going on. People in wars just don't have time to relax. Jin needs to improve and he's doing an excellent job of it.
THe new Zero System? Sweetness. I want to see that in action and I mean soon.

Finally, Rachel shows a little bit of spirit. It's about time. I'm alos happy to finally see that at least someone is willing to admit there is something going on in the romantic light of things.
You don't need to feel badly about not being great at romance sceans. I think I perfer having it left to the imagination than having someone trying to tell me all the details I don't particularly want to know.

I also wonder how'll the other pilots will take the news. Rachel seems to be having a bit of trouble deeling with the fact her fater is Oz's leader. she really needs to get over it, like Kreed seems to have done.

And Jin saves Rachel yet again. I've now lost count of the number of times he has saved her. She's rather pathetic isn't she? I mean, it is tecnically her fault Wing lost that battle with Max. if she had just left then Jin wouldn't have had to worry about her. but then, who am I to judge.
On to the next chapter to see what Vance has planned.

Let me see... The action is wrtten quite perfectally. i noticed that Jin saved Rachel yet again. i would also like to see Kreed and Anita admit they have a thing for each other. hopefull that will come later.

Poor Rachel and Kreed. the two of them seem to be handling everything rather well. i still want to know how they feel about their mother being killed.
I'm going to end this review now since i want to see what happens with their first mission.
