I like what you did with the colours, it seems to me that Toby would be distinctly aware of colour and even distraced by it. I like the idea that Toby make it through speeches and remarks during the Bartlet years, but fall apart afterwards over memoirs. And that CJ is capable of doing what Toby cannot do, or isn't doing... and apoligizing for it. Anyway, it all works, and I adored it.

very well written. The comment about the post-it-note shopping list was my favorite line. This is very dark, and it's a great story because the situation is torchously works for Toby, and it works for CJ, and the idea cuts very deep. Well, well done.
